McPherson, Kan. – Fourteen members of the McPherson College football team earned a position on the All-Kansas Collegiate Athletic Conference teams announced today by the league office. Senior offensive lineman
David Kraft (Peck, Kan.) and senior defensive lineman
Drew Thomsen (Phoenix, Ariz.) led the Bulldogs with a selection to the all-conference first team.
Kraft, a three-year starter on the offensive line, split time between center and left tackle in 11 starts with the Bulldogs this season to earn his third straight appearance on the first team. Thomsen, who earned first team honors for the first time, led the Bulldogs with 11.5 tackles for loss and three forced fumbles, while ranking second on the team with 3.5 sacks. He finished the season with 43 total tackles, which is second on the team amongst defensive lineman.

Andy Skinner (Montezuma, Kan.), senior running back
Travon Jones (Fresno, Calif.), senior linebacker
Darrick Johnson (Maricopa, Ariz.) and sophomore punter
Paul Rotering (Colorado Springs, Colo.) earning second team All-KCAC honors.
Skinner led all Bulldog receivers with 43 catches for 602 yards and seven touchdowns, while Jones paced the MC ground attack with 169 rushes for 862 yards. Additionally, Jones led the team and ranked eighth nationally in scoring with 90 points on 15 touchdowns. Rotering finished the season with a 37.2 punt average, including 16 punts inside the 20-yard line.
On the defensive side, Johnson led McPherson with 91 total tackles, including 49 solo stops. In addition, Johnson recorded one tackle for loss, two interceptions and two pass break-ups.
In addition to the six first and second team award winners, eight Bulldogs were placed on the KCAC honorable mention team. Those eight players were senior defensive lineman

McPherson, under the direction of second year head coach Joe Bettasso, finished the season 4-7 overall and 4-5 in conference play following a 24-17 victory against Sterling College on Nov. 12.
