Individual Women's Results
Vancouver, Wash. – Sophomore cross country runner
Aspen Frey (Newton, Kan.) finished 228
th out of 323 athletes at the 2011 NAIA Cross Country National Championships at the Fort Vancouver National Historic Site in Vancouver, Wash. The event was hosted by the Cascade Collegiate Conference and Concordia University-Portland (Ore.).
Frey, who completed the event as the sixth Kansas Collegiate Athletic Conference finisher, ran the 5K course in a time of 20:21. KCAC individual champion, Jordan Arnold was the top conference finisher, earning ninth place with a time of 17:57.
Obsie Birru of Grand View (Iowa) won the individual championship with a time of 17:15.
In the team competition, Cal State San Marcos became the third program to three-peat as team champion with 82 team points, as all five scoring runners for the Cougars earn All-American accolades.
The event wrapped up the 2011 season for the Bulldog cross country team.
