McPherson, Kan. – Junior distance runners David Parry (Morganville, Kan.) and Joshua Nilles (Goddard, Kan.) represented the McPherson College track and field team with selection to the 2011 Daktronics-NAIA Scholar-Athlete team.
The pair was two of 238 men’s track and field athletes to receive the award.
In order to be nominated, a student-athlete must maintain a minimum grade point average of 3.5 on a 4.0 scale and must have achieved a junior academic status.
Parry was one of nine athletes to conclude the Bulldogs season at the NAIA National Outdoor Track and Field Championships this past May. McPherson had two individuals capture All-American honors at the meet.
