Former Bulldog football player and 2012 MC graduate Darrick "DJ" Johnson has been honored by being placed on the USA football team that will represent the United States against a combined European all star team on September 1, 2012. This game will take place in Warsaw, Poland in the newly constructed National Stadium of which the capacity is 57,000. The game will be televised in Europe and a large audience is expected to attend and view the game.
This inaugural Euro-American Challenge game is the first of an annual event to bring the best available American players, who are interested in signing a European contract, against the best European players who are willing to be recruited by American scouts to play in the United States.

The USA team will practice in Hillburn, New York at the Joseph T. St. Lawrence Sports Complex beginning on August 27, 2012. All practices will be open to scouts, media and fans. All Media contacts and requests should be sent to playCDFL@gmail.com
Team roster selections will include players listed as alternates who will receive team privileges, be involved in the team practices, but may not travel. 4 Roster spots remain available for the final team selection.
