McPherson, Kan. – The McPherson College women's basketball team is pleased to announce the singing of four student-athletes for the 2016-17 season in Isabella Bacon, Danielle Holt, Cami Richardson, and Brooke Zimmerman.

Isabella Bacon (5-8, SG, Fr., Sapulpa, Okla. / Sapulpa High School)
Bacon heads to McPherson as a 5-8 shooting guard from Sapulpa, Oklahoma and Sapulpa High School.
While playing for the Chieftains, Bacon averaged eight points per game and was named to the all-region team in 2016. She is a member of the National Honors Society and will be graduating this May.
Isabella is the daughter of Jeff and Elizabeth Bacon and plans on majoring in Biology at MC.

Danielle Holt (6-0, F, Fr., Glenpool, Okla. / Glenpool High School)
A 6-0 freshman forward, Holt makes her way up to McPherson after playing the last four years for the Glenpool High School Warriors and coaches Tanya Blades and Kristen White.
Holt averaged eight points and 7.5 and tallied seven double-doubles as a senior at GHS; she also recorded 18 blocks for the Warriors. Following her junior season, Holt was named a Tulsa-area All-VYPE Player. She earned all-conference status after her senior year.
The daughter of Debbie Hold, Danielle will major in education at McPherson College.

Cami Richardson (5-9, G, Fr., Hesston, Kan. / Hesston High School)
Richardson is a 5-9 guard from Hesston, Kansas and Hesston High School. She will make her way to McPherson after lettering for four years with Coach Matt Richardson.
While playing for the Swathers, Richardson scored 1152 points, pulled in 521 rebounds, and dished out 318 assists. She is a four-time all-league performer; as a freshman and sophomore she earned second team and then improved to a first teamer following her junior and senior season.
The guard also was named all-state all four years at Hesston; she was honorable mention as a freshman, second team as a sophomore, and first team her final two years.
Richardson earned the Principal Honor Role all for years in high school and boasts a 4.0 GPA.
Cami is the daughter of Matt Richardson and Jenni Kinnaird and will be majoring in accounting.

Brooke Zimmerman (6-0, F., Jr., Aurora, Colo. / Western Nebraska Community College)
The lone junior-transfer of this signing group, Zimmerman is a 6-0 forward and transfers to McPherson after playing for Coach David Harnish and the Western Nebraska Community College Cougars for the past two seasons.
Zimmerman attended Smoky Hill High School in Aurora, Colorado where she was a three-year letter winner for the Buffalos and Coach DuWayne Brandon. During her prep career, she averaged eight points and 10 rebounds a game; the forward was an all-conference honorable mention all four years.
The daughter of Sandy and Gerry Zimmerman, Brooke will be a biology / pre physical therapy major for McPherson.
