McPherson, Kan. – McPherson College men’s basketball head coach Tim Swartzendruber has been named KBCA "College Men's Coach of the Year" for the 2011-12 season.  Coach Swartzendruber will be honored at a banquet on August 2^nd.

McPherson, Kan. – The basketball program at McPherson College now has four more awards to add to their total for the 2011-12 season.  Frazier earned a spot on the All-America First Team, becoming the third player in MC history to do so; Crawford was named All-American Honorable Mention.  Seniors Jordan Crawford and Aaron Frazier were also named to the NAIA All-Tournament team for their performances in the NAIA-II National Championship tournament. 

POINT LOOKOUT, Mo. - Jonathan Dunn scored a game-high 31 points in leading top-seeded Northwood (Fla.) to its first national title game with a convincing 76-56 win over No. 5 McPherson (Kan.) at the NAIA Division II Men's Basketball National Championship.

Point Lookout, Mo. – The 2011-12 men’s basketball program at McPherson College has just has broken another record.  For the first time in the history of MC basketball, the team is heading to the Final Four of the NAIA Division II National Basketball Tournament.  After a come from behind victory over Dordt College, 82-78, the No. 5 Bulldogs will now play No. 1 Northwood University of Florida on Monday, March 12 at 6 p.m. (CT) for a chance to compete in the NAIA-II championship game.

POINT LOOKOUT, Mo.— Samson Shivers knocked down a go-ahead 3-pointer with 14 seconds left in leading No. 5 McPherson (Kan.) to an improbable 82-78 come-from-behind win over No. 4 Dordt (Iowa) in the quarterfinals of the NAIA Division II Men’s Basketball National Championship.
