McPherson, Kan. – The McPherson College athletic department announced today that construction on the athletic facilities renovation officially began earlier this month by ATG Sports of Andover, Kan.

Orange Beach, Ala. – The McPherson College men’s soccer program landed two student-athletes on the 2011 Daktronics-NAIA Men’s Soccer Scholar-Athlete Team, as senior Tyler Tank and junior Andrew Suits were named to the squad. Suits receives the NAIA’s highest academic honor for the first time in his career, while Tank earns the honor for the second straight season.

McPherson, Kan. – McPherson College men’s soccer player Tyler Tank was voted to the Capital One Academic All-American first team for the College Division, announced earlier today by the College Sports Information Directors of America (CoSIDA). Tank, who is the first McPherson College athlete to earn this award, was among 11 student-athletes named to the Academic All-American first team.

Salina, Kan. – The McPherson College men’s soccer team saw its 2011 season come to a close on Wednesday night with a 3-0 loss to Kansas Wesleyan in the semifinal round of the KCAC Championships at Salina Stadium.

McPherson, Kan. – After advancing on penalty kicks in the quarterfinals, the McPherson College men’s soccer team travels to Salina, Kan. to take on No. 1 seeded Kansas Wesleyan University in the semifinal round of the Kansas Collegiate Athletic Conference Men’s Soccer Championships on Wednesday, Nov. 9 at 6 p.m. (CT).
